Program Overview

Explore the world of video and media production. This hands-on production course will introduce you to careers in video, television, film, computer animation and other mass media. Video production takes place both in the studio and on location. Students, working as a profession production crew, write scripts, create storyboards, and shoot and edit projects. Editing and special effects are completed in the classroom where we have state-of-the-art editing and animation facilities. Students practice all phases of production creating a series of projects that explore different industries, feature filmmaking, music video production, television advertisements, documentaries and video art. This program requires students to possess proficient written and communication and visual skills.
