Our class has competed in the Castleton State College Videofest for the past 11 years. Winning student videos are shown on Vermont Public Television. 1st place winners receive a $500 scholarship to the college.

Reach Awards

This unique competition is judged by a local design firm and is open only to Stafford Technical Center students. Small Planet Communications hands out over $5000 in cash awards each year!

Alas, this New England wide competition is no longer running. Between the '99 and '02 our class won many awards including several first place awards for our various commercials.

Scholarships & Other Student Awards

Our students also achieve academically. This year Larissa Perron was awarded a $1000 VSAC scholarship for her outstanding academic performance. In 2002 VMM alumni Matt Merwin earned a $40,000 scholarship to the Savannah College of Art and Design. Eric Kapitan, currently attending Castleton State College, was selected as the Vermont Association of Broadcasters Student of the Year!
